Skyward

My submission as a whole is titled 'Skyward', because when looking for inspiration for this project I couldn't help but imagine birds and the freedom they symbolise for many people. Then an image came into my head of lying in a field, just looking at the sky, and drifting away into the clouds. This image is what I wanted to conjure with the track 'Dream of Flying' - a blissful state of immanent freedom; it also functions as the menu music to this imaginary game, as well as its main theme. 

The other track, ' To The Sky', begins a lot darker, and conjures images for me of a freedom taken away, and having to fight for it - ultimately though, we push through the strife and come out the other side. 

I didn't have a concrete idea of what this game would be, but I'm thinking something story-focused, possible a JRPG or Action/Adventure. The two songs were built around very cinematic imagery in my head, so I was imagining cutscenes more than anything else.
